About Young TimeBank
Taster Sessions
Young TimeBank also provides taster sessions which enable pupils to make a difference by taking part in a practical workshop - which can last half a day or a full day. Our taster sessions can be delivered as stand-alone sessions or as part of a schoolÕs Citizenship or Community Day or other event.
Our taster sessions enable pupils to explore an important issue in their school or community for example by researching and designing their own campaign, designing their own t-shirts or taking photographs for an exhibition.
Our taster sessions also enable teachers to experience the benefits of working with Young TimeBank, before hopefully deciding to work with us on something more long-term.
Taster sessions are delivered by Young TimeBank staff, supported where appropriate by our Volunteer Facilitators.
