Teachers
Young TimeBank supports groups of young people in schools and colleges around the country to tackle the issues they care about, by involving them in creative, youth-led community projects.
Through taking part in a Young TimeBank project, your pupils can develop key skills like teamwork, communication and negotiation, while they make a difference to important social issues - by, for example, making a film or publication, running a campaign, arranging an event or creating art for an exhibition.
Our projects can be delivered in class time, when they can help you fulfil elements of the curriculum for Citizenship in an active and practical way. They can also be delivered as extra-curricular activities, when they can provide positive activities for extended schools.
Young TimeBank can help your school meet OFSTED criteria for community involvement, build student voice, and contribute to other national education policies and procedures e.g. Every Child Matters.
