The Peer Facilitation model

Currently offered in Hertfordshire and Swindon.

The Peer Facilitation model is an exciting new initiative that provides training and support for groups of older pupils (in Year 10, 11 or Sixth Form) to design and deliver peer-led projects with younger pupils in their school.

It utilises the benefits of peer to peer learning and provides the added incentive for your older pupils of training and practical experience in facilitation, project planning and working with a group of younger pupils.

The model provides a training session for older pupils in facilitation skills, followed by a project planning session. The older pupils then deliver a one day project where they get to work with younger pupils on an issue of their choice..

Support from TimeBank has been phenomenal…
I wanted TimeBank’s help in getting out of the young people what’s in them. I couldn’t lose that chance…The fact that it’s free is brilliant – cost would have been a big problem
