Taster Sessions
Currently offered in Hertfordshire, London, Manchester and Swindon.
Young TimeBank also provides taster sessions which enable your pupils to make a difference by taking part in a practical workshop - which can last half a day or a full day. Our taster sessions can be delivered as stand-alone sessions or as part of a school's Citizenship or Community Day or other event.
Our taster sessions enable your pupils to explore an important issue in their school or community, for example by researching and designing their own campaign, designing their own t-shirts or taking photographs for an exhibition.
Our taster sessions also enable teachers to experience the benefits of working with Young TimeBank - we can then discuss with you how we can work together on a more long term basis in the future.
Taster sessions are delivered by Young TimeBank staff and are supported, where appropriate, by our Volunteer Facilitators.
