Teachers
What schools provide
Young TimeBank will strive to add value to the activities already going on in your school and work with you in the most effective way possible. To do this we need you to help us by providing our team with:
- A suitable space where the project work can be carried out
- Contact details of the teacher or member of staff responsible for liaising with Young TimeBank
- The teacher’s commitment to support the project from start to finish, including participation in evaluating the impact of the project (through a short questionnaire completed at the end of the project)

We also need you to provide:
- An existing group of pupils who you think would benefit from the scheme, like a Student Council, Eco-Schools committee, Citizenship class or a skills-based curriculum group (e.g. ASDAN) - or an opportunity to tell pupils about the scheme and the projects available, and invite them to 'opt in' e.g. at a year group assembly
- Some suggested dates and times for an initial assembly (if necessary), an introductory workshop, and the regular ongoing sessions
- A timeframe for the project – usually projects last 6-12 weeks, but we can discuss this with you and your pupils in order to cater to your specific needs and requirements.

We also need you to provide:
- An opportunity to tell pupils about the scheme and the projects available or existing groups of both older pupils and younger pupils who would benefit from participating in the model.
- Some suggested dates for the three sessions with your pupils: the initial training and project planning sessions for the older pupils, and the delivery of the one day project by the younger students with support from their older peers and Young TimeBank staff.
