Young People

We know that young people care about a whole range of important issues – but too often, they don't know how to go about making a difference, or where to start.

We inspire groups of young people like you, in schools around the country, to identify issues they feel strongly about. We then give these groups the opportunity to consider the most relevant and effective way to tackle these issues through a choice of five different project packages. These include arranging an event, creating art for an exhibition, making a film, organising a campaign or producing a publication.

Our projects provide a platform for your ideas and put you in control by enabling you to make all the important decisions about your project, from the issue you tackle, to the length of your project, and your own role and responsibility within the group.

The website provides a place for Young TimeBank groups to showcase and promote their projects, and other young people to get some inspiration and steal some ideas! There are also some simple actions you can take to make a difference to things that matter to you, without having to wait for your school, or your friends, to get involved.

Young TimeBank is a great idea and I had loads of fun doing it, I would definitely do it again!
