Young People

Would you like to get involved in Young TimeBank?

Young TimeBank is currently running projects in London (Lambeth, Southwark, Waltham Forest and Westminster) and Manchester – and we are hoping to expand to other areas in the future.

If you’re in one of these areas, you can kick-start a Young TimeBank project in your school:

  • Try to think of a teacher who you think would like to set up a Young TimeBank project
  • Let us know their name and contact details, and your name and form or tutor group, by emailing helpdesk@timebank.org.uk
  • We will write to them, send them one of our leaflets, and let them know that their students want to get involved
  • Or ask them to get in touch with us – email helpdesk@timebank.org.uk, phone 0845 347 9363 – or have a look at our website

If your school is outside of these areas, you can still get involved by downloading our step by step guides to projects like making a film, or running a campaign. You could encourage your school or youth group to help you implement and provide you with necessary support and equipment.

…it (the project) shows me that it is possible to act upon issues I feel strongly about. It’s great that Young TimeBank has shown me this and what they do is wonderful.
